Noon bags are all eco. Bags are made with biodegradable materials so that they can skip the landfill and can even be buried in your backyard without hurting the earth. They are manufactured using German leather that is tanned in similar ways to people tanning leather hundreds of years ago. The leather is heavy metal and chemical free, and tanned and dyed with sustainably harvested materials. Each bag is personally hand dyed, with natural substances such as pomegranates and walnuts, our organic hemp and cotton fabrics. Noon Solar is one of a very small number of design companies using natural dyes on a production scale in the US. To create textures and patterns on the bags, ancient Japanese dying method is used, Shibori, making each bag unique.
